Before the energy reaches the plants, we need a reliable power supply system around the site, and it requires special cables and wires for the steel industry that meet strict standards. Depending on the application, we need different types of cables with specific insulation and protection. For instance, we've developed the MULTITHERM 400-ES specifically for the steel industry. It has strong braided high-grade steel protection, making it resistant to harsh substances like casting powder and hydrofluoric acid, as well as mechanically durable. This control cable can handle temperatures up to 400°C. The HELUTHERM 1200/1200-ES can withstand temperatures up to 1,100°C thanks to its special core insulation of silicone-impregnated glass-fibre braiding.

Our THERMFLEX 180 EWKF can be used at temperatures up to 180°C. Its outer sheath and core insulation are made of a unique silicone rubber material, providing excellent resistance to abrasion and notching, resulting in a longer lifespan. This control cable is available in shielded and halogen-free versions and is also resistant to various chemicals.

In the realm of cable accessories, we offer heat-resistant cable protection conduit systems. For example, our HTP conduit is designed for high-temperature protection and can handle short-term use at temperatures of up to 1,090°C, thanks to its silicone jacket containing iron oxide. Our HELU-S-RK-N cable lugs made of nickel can be used at temperatures up to 500°C, and our metal conduit with Agraff profile made of stainless steel can handle temperatures up to 600°C.

It is equipped with an additional robust braided high-grade steel that protects it from aggressive substances such as casting powder and hydrofluoric acid, and it makes it mechanically highly resilient. The control cable can be used at temperatures up to 400°C. The HELUTHERM 1200/1200-ES can withstand temperatures of up to 1,100°C and therefore has a special core insulation consisting of glass-fibre braiding impregnated with silicone.

This control cable is also available in shielded and halogen-free versions. In addition, it is resistant to high-molecular oils, plasticisers, diluted acids and alkalis as well as oxidants.
